Tropic Thunder at the Drive-in. My review.
I haven't laughed this hard at a war movie since Platoon!
This movie is by far one of the funniest movies this summer, it has been quite a while since i movie got a belly laugh out of me and Tropic Thunder kept me cracking up the entire film. Robert Downey Jr. plays '' a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude'' and the dude plays it deliriously funny, Ben stiller is as good as he has ever been and i think he directed this, i was still laughing when the credits were rolling. Jack Black for the first time in his career did not play Jack Black, there was no power stance, no yodeling and no constipated face whilst playing the air guitar, hell there was no air guitar, good on ya Mr Black it was about time you dropped the tenacious shtick, the two other actors in the movie within the movie (Jay Baruchel and Brandon T. Jackson ) are also worth mention and they deliver their lines with perfect timing, giving Downey, Black and Stiller the ''Straight men'' to their outrageously self absorbed characters, also nice to see Matthew McConaughey with a shirt on and not playing his version of a southern boy, ooh ooh and i have to give props to Tom Cruise on this movie , he let go of his ego and delivered a funny over the top character that made me forget the jumping-on-couches Tom of recent years.
All in all, this movie was Pants off funny and will deliver many laughs and many quotes for every day life ;)

I want to see this now. I wasn't that sure, because I saw the trailer & almost wet my pants with laughter, but was worried that was the only funny parts in the movie.

Robert Downey Jr is the only actor I can think of with the bravado to pull off acting in blackface. plus he's hot :D
